Screening

Because of our reputation overseas, Nannies from Heaven is able to attract the most qualified and experienced nannies. Each candidate:

1. must possess in-depth training or nanny experience
   
   
2. must match the needs of the family with whom they're placed
   
   
3. undergoes a pre-screening qualifying telephone interview
   
   
4. participates in an extensive face-to-face interview
   
   
5. has each individual reference checked and verified, where possible, by NFH
   
   
6. has educational credentials and previous non-childcare employment verified
   
   
7. undergoes a criminal records check
   
   
8. participates, where possible, in an initial Nannies from Heaven  orientation session where health, safety and protocol issues are reinforced
   
   
9. will be subject to unannounced visits/spot checks to the home by a staff member from Nannies from Heaven at a parent's request
   
   
10. has up-to-date CPR/First Aid training (if the candidate does not have it, Nannies from Heaven will provide the appropriate training opportunity upon the caregiver's arrival in Canada).
